Max Payne 1&2 reunites in a new generation remake
It only took a tweet announcing the remake of Max Payne 1 & 2 to ignite Twitter and blow up Remedy’s shareholder page. But it’s true, Sam Lake and his teams turned to Rockstar Games for this project, revealed by Sam Houser

.
A project with an XXL budget, financed by the GTA fathers
This return will therefore not be a hasty remaster, but a remake. Yes, A make new. In its press release, Remedy states that this release will take the form ofa unique game developed exclusively for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC with Northlight engine (Control, Quantum Break). The budget for revisiting Max Payne 1 & 2 will be that of a “typical remedy production”
Are we seeing a real return of license to the edge of the stage? It may be that this project is there to test the water and start talking about the franchise again… like Alan Wake. For this, Remedy first offered a remaster and then unveiled Alan Wake 2. It is therefore quite plausible that the pattern is repeated again, why not a remake of Max Payne 3, or rather a Max Payne 4 by Remedy. But please with the atmosphere of the first two cult games, gentlemen.
How are you reacting to this announcement of a Max Payne 1&2 remake? Do you think that Remedy will manage to sublimate the special atmosphere without changing it? Day one or are you “too old for this bullshit”? tell us everything Remarks.
