Resident Evil Re: Verse was originally due to appear this summer

, more precisely in the month of July, in which we are very precisely. As some must have noticed, Capcom didn’t really communicate the release of its title, and for good reason: it’s obviously not living up to expectations and its release has just been postponed to 2022.

This online multiplayer game, in which six players compete against each other in ultra-dynamic matches, had as an interest in bringing together all of the key characters in the Resident Evil saga

: Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Ada Wong but also big villains like Nemesis or Jack Baker could then compete iconic arenas, all in a comic-inspired graphic style.

The offer is interesting on paper, but obviously requires some time to fine-tune: on Twitter, the Osaka company claims to need additional time: “Resident Evil Re: Verse is being postponed until 2022 so the team can keep working and provide a comfortable gaming experience.”

Keep in mind that this third-person shooter should also be offered to Resident Evil Village buyers. Capcom allows anyone who has purchased a physical version of survival horror to show off, “Keep Track of Resident Evil Re: Verse Download Code Included”, or add it directly to your account for next year’s release.
