exist rise, You are nothing but a cog on the company’s machine. When your life is not important, no one will step in to protect it.
To survive the journey to the top, you will need The best weapons and enhancements The Ascent must provide.
Of course, many of them will vary depending on the style of the game. Personally, I prefer the more running and gun method that is conducive to the rapid firing of the arsenal.
However, if you are a tactical player and want to make better use of The Ascent’s underrated cover system, then be sure to pick up a sniper rifle.
Or, if you are an all-out strong, then the shotgun may also provide you with better service.
The best weapon to rise
There are various weapons for you to use in The Ascent.
In the loot you find, every version of the same gun you find is the same, and the statistics of the things you find have not changed. So once you find a weapon, you can basically unlock it in the rest of the game.
If you choose to upgrade weapons with limited components, all subsequent guns you find will also be upgraded, so you don’t have to feel precious to sell them either.
By the final stage, you should have found enough components to upgrade some to Mk 5, so although you have to choose how to use materials relatively wisely, there is still some room for experimentation.
To let you know what we like in the game, here are some of the best weapons in The Ascent.
fear
Dread may be a basic assault rifle, but it is very suitable for The Ascent’s running gun double-stroke shooter style.
It is suitable for knocking down many different types of enemies, and it works well in short and medium ranges.
Once you start encountering robot enemies that are resistant to physical attacks, you will want to pair it with energy weapons. However, the upgraded fear can see you for most of the game.
HFC fever
HCF is an improved hand cannon that can set the enemy on fire-it’s really great, right?
You can find it in an abandoned building in the thanksgiving area of the city earlier in the game.
It is very suitable for destroying stubborn enemies, because the flames will cause damage over time as you retreat and look for cover.
Celestial Smasher
If you are a character wielding a heavy weapon, it is hard to ignore the automatic rocket launcher.
Astrosmasher is dropped by the early game Boss and is worth a try.
EBR actuator
For me, this energy-based burst rifle is undoubtedly the best weapon in the game.
Energy projectiles-which can also be aimed at enemies-can perform short-term work on all different types of enemies, including those that are resistant to regular physical attacks.
EBR Enforcer has large magazines, fast reloading and great damage potential. It is an all-round monster.
Deal breaker
This weapon is a bit spoiled, so I won’t say more. I mention it because you can almost easily walk past it in the last area of the game.
Keep your head clear and look for this box in the bottom corner of Silo 86.
The Ascent best enhancement
One of the defining elements of cyberpunk novels is the implementation of biotechnology enhancement, which has raised the capabilities of the human body to a dreamlike level.
In The Ascent, these modifications tend to be extremely violent.
They also tend to have a relatively long cooldown, so I find that they are best used to get you out of trouble-especially when you are nearing the end.
Here are some of the best enhancements we found in The Ascent.
Spider robot
From the moment you get them as rewards from your mid-game boss, the spider robot is a very powerful tool in your arsenal.
When you need to take a breath, not only can they eliminate your character’s hatred, but their AoE damage is enough to eliminate even some of the most powerful creatures in The Ascent.
Rat bite
When you return to Deepstink for the third time in the story, be sure to open the ICE 2 door of the garbage disposal area and pick up the rat bite enhancer.
This will summon some enemy mobs to fight alongside you for a limited time-this is another great way to pull hatred away from your character.
Push forward
Speaking of crowd control, if you want to take a more proactive approach to reduce the number of sheep, then the boost in propulsion that you can also reward as a boss is another consideration.
With relatively low power and cooling costs, this AoE splash is good at covering distances and destroying multiple enemies at the same time.
Neutron beam
If you want, you can call it Kamehameha or Hadouken, but when all other methods fail, sometimes you just need to blast from the corner.
The neutron beam is an excellent enhancement tool to achieve this goal.
Sometimes in The Ascent, you will be overwhelmed by a large group of enemies, and this enhancement is one of the best ways to output a lot of damage as quickly as possible in the game.
