In an odd twist, and Twitter’s slow demise, Elon Musk has finally bought the social media platform. In light of the news and various complaints on Twitter, some stories have surfaced around the SpaceX CEO’s previous efforts.
One of the stories comes from Sam Barlow, the designer of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and Her Story, Lies and Immortal Creators. Following news of Musk’s acquisition of Twitter, Barlow shared on Twitter that he had been asked to put her story in the car for zero payment other than “exposure.”
“Tesla once reached out and asked to put her story in the car. I asked how much they would pay for a permit and pay for engineering work – they suggested zero and I thought I would get exposure,” Barlow tweeted.

The game designer then responded to his own tweet, saying “her story in the car is still one of the dumbest ideas I’ve heard.”
It seems that Sam Barlow isn’t the only one who has received an offer to put the game in the car for free, with Untitled Goose Game developer Cabel Sasser chiming in in the post: “Same re: goose.”
“Scary self-driving car crash. Police suspect naughty goose”

I don’t know about you, but adding games to cars seems like an odd concept to me; is there a market for people who want to crash? Tesla isn’t the only company looking to merge video games and cars, with BMW partnering with AirConsole to add games to its cars.
I would say that the game should probably remain on its target device and away from the vehicle. We already have our phones in the car, which may seem like a bad enough distraction to some; I don’t believe car games are any different.
