Sea of Thieves will be free for all Xbox Live subscribers this weekend, and the game is celebrating its second anniversary with some in-game items.
Sea of Thieves Now, as of March 23, all Xbox Live subscribers can play for free.
To celebrate the second anniversary of the game, if you play the game between now and March 27, you will get a special "X mark live" arrival eye. Upon entering the game, the weapon will immediately appear in your arsenal.
Watching the anniversary of the "Sea of Thieves" from 5pm to 7pm GMT today, you can also claim to be in front of the ship designed by the killer instinct character Spinal. Please ensure that your Microsoft and Thieves Sea accounts are linked in order to request shipping notifications.
Those who play games through Xbox Games Pass Ultimate can receive Ori-style spaceships. It is available now and is exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
Starting today, you can also "relive the greatest moments of the past two years." Take a surprise on "The Hungry Abyss", "Cursed Sails" and "Forgotten Coast", and you can snap up cosmetics that were previously limited to the first release of these updates. For example, if you missed a Merrick drum opportunity for the first time, you now have a chance to make money.
Finally, starting March 30, you can also unlock Bleeding Edge marine cosmetics. Throughout the week, you will be challenged to complete three goals to get sail, flag and hull designs inspired by bleeding edges. You can also track your progress with these goals on the Sea of Thieves website.
The latest free content update for the game, Heart of Fire, went live on March 19.
