So far there has been nothing to see from Geralt or Ciri in Cyberpunk 2077 apart from Easter Eggs. However, you can soon let Mercenary V become a witcher yourself – thanks to free in-game goodies. We’ll clarify how you will get it for the release.
How do I get the Witcher goodies?
The items are logically only available for the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 on December 10th. To secure them, you simply have to link your GOG account in the game. Incidentally, this applies to all platforms, also on the consoles.
If you don’t have an account yet, you can get one for free on the GOG website create. By the way, you don’t have to pre-order. The rewards are also available if you buy the RPG later. In addition, CD Projekt Red promises additional free rewards for everyone who owns The Witcher 3 or Gwent – apparently in cyberpunk as well as in the developer’s other games.
When these items will hit is not yet known. Among them is, for example, a samurai coin reverse for Gwent or the title “Breathtaking” as a reference to Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand.
By the way, there was a new trailer about the character of the role-playing game, including some information about its role and motivation in the game:

You will receive two T-shirts, one of which is decorated with the famous wolf from the witcher’s medallion. It also adorns a samurai leather jacket. In Cyberpunk 2077, items of clothing are not purely cosmetic, but bring armor values with them and can be further improved and specialized using mods.
Part of the package is also a katana inspired by Geralt’s sword as a melee weapon, as well as a toy monster plushie in Arasaka armor, which can probably be placed in your apartment in the game.
In-game rewards are all well and good, but reveal precious little about the actual game. This is where colleague Michael Graf helps out. He could Play Cyberpunk 2077 for a full 15 hours and gives his impressions of the gameplay, story and an eight-page preview:
