Sonic goes full throttle again and lets it be known. An enigmatic teaser heats up the mood for one of the license’s biggest projects.
The blue hedgehog has a great shape. After a small break, Sonic got back on track (blue). The Sega mascot put on his sneakers and finally grabbed the bull by the horns. When it comes to video g ames, he’s already given himself a second life with Sonic Frontier. Even though the game was divided, it was still a huge success. With Sonic Superstars in particular, we also had the right to go back to basics a little. A next big game is also expected, freshly announced at the last State of Play.

But Sonic has shone in the cinema in recent years with two successful films, and that’s obviously not the end of it. The license’s next big project, Sonic3 arrives and is slowly starting to cause a stir on the day of the thirtieth anniversary of the third game in the series. Coincidence?
In any case, we finally had the right to our first real tease. While some images leaked a while ago, notably showing Shadow, the antagonist, facing off against the blue hedgehog and his new companions, we had nothing to hold onto. Well that’s still the case, we’re not going to lie as we still don’t have a trailer.
But things are starting to move as the official X account has just released a first teaser for its film Sonic 3. A very short video in which we don’t see much except the new logo of the film, which represents Sonic and Shadow, accompanied by a scowl from Dr. Eggman, still played by Jim Carrey. The Sonic 3 movie is still expected for the month of December 2024, a first date has been set for the 18th, but since it is not indicated in this new trailer, it could have changed over time.
