Some time ago the studio Insomniac Games was affected by a big leak. If you thought all the information was already published, we have to correct you. A trailer has now appeared showing the discontinued live game Spider-Man: The Great Web.
It’s still the best way to swing together. Spider-Man 2 proved this impressively, as in the second web-swinging adventure from Insomniac Games, Peter Parker and Miles Morales set out together to protect New York.
But what if you and your friends could really make the Big Apple safe? Insomniac Games probably also asked this question when the concept for the live service game Spider-Man: The Great Web came about.

In this one, five friends were supposed to set off together, but as is well known, Sony canceled the project. This emerged from a big leak at Insomniac Games, which revealed even more exciting information. For example, a Beetle DLC is coming for Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine’s release period and setting have also been announced.
However, Spider-Man: The Great Web came out of nowhere a leaked trailer released, which looks surprisingly well polished. Here you’ll see several Spider-Men and Spider-Women swinging through New York and taking on the Sinister Six. In terms of story, it should take up the idea of a multiverse, the gate between dimensions having been opened by Scarlet Witch.
Even though service games aren’t exactly popular, we have to say: they look pretty darn good. Presumably the massive shitstorm surrounding Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League led to the discontinuation.
