Star Trek Discovery Season 4: This happened in the finale!
You probably already guessed that this article is waiting for you Spoiler to the finale of “Star Trek: Discovery” Season 4. So read on with caution if you haven’t seen the latest episode yet. You don’t know how? This is how you see “Star Trek: Discovery” Season 4 in Germany!
After Tarka (Shawn Doyle) brought negotiations with Species 10-C to an abrupt end, Michael and the Federation have just four hours to save Earth and Ni’Var. A war with the much more advanced 10-C must not be risked.
You can find out what exactly happens in our recap of episode 13 of “Star Trek: Discovery” Season 4. In the short version it can be said: Diplomacy can prevent the 10-C from destroying Earth and Ni’Var.
Book (David Ajala) must answer for his betrayal of the Federation. Through his actions with Tarka, he has endangered the peace with Species 10-C. In order to repent, he must help the survivors of the planets destroyed by the DMA.
Star Trek Discoevry: what’s next?
It is difficult to say exactly how things will continue. In 2022, more “Star Trek” series and seasons will start. Due to the high publication frequency, which has ensured that since August 2021 there has not been a week in which a new “Star Trek” episode appears, we assume that events will soon overlap.
In the “Star Trek” chronology, “Star Trek: Picard”, “Discovery” and the other highlights such as “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” do not play parallel, but sooner or later an event will come so that the series will be linked and an overarching universe will be created.
So it’s hard to predict what will happen in “Star Trek: Discovery” Season 5. The finale also leaves few questions unanswered that could be addressed in Season 5.
Special focus will be on Book and Michael’s relationship. After the two have to go their separate ways, the question arises as to whether they can find each other again. The love is still there, but the trust is shattered and a long-distance relationship is certainly not easy.
Star Trek Discovery season 5: When is it next?
When “Star Trek: Discovery” Season 5 starts is unclear. We expect the new episodes to start in winter 2022 at the earliest. A start in spring 2023 is also possible. Nevertheless, there is no boredom for “Star Trek” fans. As already described: one “Star Trek” series follows the next without a gap!
Star Trek: Picard Season 2 is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The new series “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” will follow on May 5, 2022 and will end in the third season of “Star Trek: Lower Decks” in summer. What follows after that is unclear. We’re assuming Star Trek: Prodigy and then Star Trek: Discovery Season 5.
- Since March 2022: “Star Trek: Picard” Season 2 on Amazon Prime Video
- 5. Mai 2022: “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” Staffel 1 bei Paramount+
- July / August 2022: Star Trek: Lower Decks” Season 3 on Amazon Prime Video
That would give us new “Star Trek” episodes every week for a year, because the US streaming service Paramount + has always shown a series since August 2021. The streaming service will also expand to Germany in the summer of 2022.
