Star Trek: Picard Season 2 has now started streaming on Amazon Prime Video. A new episode awaits you weekly, always on Fridays, in the Amazon Prime Video news program, i.e. always one day after the US release on the Paramount+ streaming service.
Season 2 will be released alongside Season 4 of Star Trek: Discovery. With Discovery airing free on Pluto TV, fans are wondering: is Star Trek: Picard coming to live TV?

As we learned from the Star Trek: Picard season 2 trailer, Q (John de Lancie) returns and changes the past to the extent that it massively influences the future. Suddenly, Picard and his crew find themselves in a dystopian future.
Jean-Luc, Raffi, Seven and Co. keep their memories and find themselves in completely new roles in the new, totalitarian world. They must act to restore their former reality. To do this, they travel to the year 2024 to prevent the yet to be identified event that changed Q.

Immediately following the work on Season 2, Star Trek: Picard Season 3 will be filmed back-to-back. Everything currently indicates that “Star Trek: Picard” will end after season 3.
