In the summer of 2023, the crew of “Star Trek Strange New Worlds” will embark on the adventure of a second season. So that the journey with the Paramount+ series does not lead us into the unknown, the streaming service has now published a first short trailer.
In the clip, we can expect a big reunion with numerous old companions from the first season. We also get our first look at new chief engineer Pelia, portrayed by Carol Kane. This time it also seems as if the new adventures from the “Star Trek” universe will be even more eventful.
As long as no 21st century doors stop them, because James T. Kirk (Paul Wesley) doesn’t seem to have been paying attention in history class to know how to open them. The excuse “I come from outer space” doesn’t help to cover up his incompetence.
But Spock (Ethan Peck) also seems a little unsure – as far as one can say that about him at all – when he tries to set the Enterprise in motion with an improvised catchphrase. It is foreseeable that the two clumsy people will become friends one day.
The new episodes of the “Star Trek” series, which is extremely popular with fans, will start in Germany on June 15, 2023 on the Paramount+ streaming service. A third season of “Strange New Worlds” has also been confirmed.
