Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which was last postponed to the end of April, should obviously give you significantly more freedom than its predecessor. Accordingly, you should be able to explore several planets quite freely.
If you like to go exploring, you can obviously look forward to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor more than the predecessor. In this regard, the makers want to give the players significantly more freedom when it comes to the different planets in the sci-fi action game.
Respawn Entertainment has recently given more insights in to the planets that you can visit throughout the game. There the developer wants to rely significantly more on an open-world design than has been usual in the series so far. According to an exclusive report, the sequel is coming from the English-speaking colleagues IGN
In the video with the colleagues, for example, Koboh is presented, one of the new planets in Survivor. While the initial scenes on Koboh are still quite restrictive, the planet becomes more and more open as the game progresses. Ultimately, a “world that spreads out in every direction” is created there. Thanks to the more open layout, you can uncover mysteries on the planet or encounter enemies that you wouldn’t necessarily have to deal with to complete the main story.
In the game session, which lasted five hours, it was one of the tasks of the protagonist Cal to take care of the repairs to the crashed Mantis. However, players can also choose to go in a completely different direction at first, which will ultimately reward them with additional discoveries. A cave with a boss opponent, a Bedlam Raider camp or a puzzle room in a Jedi chamber are given as examples.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be available on April 28, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
