It was destined to be one of the most notable releases of 2023, but in the end it was a little far away. Starfield, Bethesda’s new space adventure, provoked opposite reactions in the gaming community: some love it with all their soul and others do not want to touch it with a stick. For the last week, I’ve been investigating an issue experienced by myself and several other people where long-running saves without ng+ would experience increasingly frequent game crashes.

As a summary, it seems that the main cause of this problem has to do with the dynamic generation of everything we see while we play. The more we travel and explore new places, the more likely it is that our game will experience problems to the point of affecting the save file.
