Valve has announced the dates for the big discounts on Steam in the first half of 2025. Those interested can already get their calendars and their pens out so as not to miss out on the next bargain deals.
Every year, the popular PC platform Steam organizes four major seasonal discount campaigns. There are also three editions of the game preview and a whole series of other themed campaigns in changing game categories. Gamers can regularly get real bargains, as there are often discounts of up to 90 percent on the usual price.
So that you can prepare for the coming year, Valve has already published the schedule for the first half of 2025. This period includes the major sales campaigns Steam Spring Sale and Steam Summer Sale. There are also two editions of the Steam Next Fest, where you can try out demos of upcoming titles in advance.
The schedule for the first half of 2025 is as follows:
- Steam Festival of Real-Time Strategy Games: January 20 – 27, 2025
- Idler Steam Festival: February 3 – 10, 2025
- Steam Local Multiplayer Festival: February 10 – 17, 2025
- Steam Next Fest in February: February 24 – March 3, 2025
- Steam Visual Novel Festival: March 3 – 10, 2025
- Steam Spring Sale: March 13 – 20, 2025
- Steam Festival of City Building and Settlement Simulations: March 24 – 31, 2025
- Steam Festival of Sokoban Games: April 21 – 28, 2025
- Steam Festival of War Games: April 28 – May 5, 2025
- Steam Creature Collector Festival: May 12 – 19, 2025
- Steam Festival of Zombies and Vampires: May 26 – June 2, 2025
- Steam Next Fest in June: June 9 – 16, 2025
- Steam Fishing Festival: June 16-23, 2025
- Steam Summer Sale: June 26 — July 10, 2025
Until then, there are of course still plenty of promotions to look forward to on Steam in the current year 2024. The next Steam Next Fest is scheduled for October 14th to 21st, and the big fall sales campaign aka Steam Autumn Sale is planned for November 27th to December 4th. As usual, there will also be the winter sales campaign aka Steam Winter Sale from December 19th, 2024 to January 2nd, 2025 to round off the year.
As is well known, Valve organizes the Steam Summer Sale every year. 2024 is no exception and this trailer introduces you to the first discounted titles.
