Have you often thought to yourself, “Please give me this as a series?” When watching the spectacular trailers from Games Workshop. Then we have really good news for you today. The Warhammer universe is getting its own streaming service, Warhammer Plus. Eleven animated series await you at the start.
This is known about Warhammer Plus
When does Warhammer Plus start? It should start in July 2021, but there is no exact date yet.
How much does Warhammer Plus cost? There is also no specific information about the subscription model and prices. We’ll probably learn more in the next few weeks. What is certain is that Warhammer Plus will be available on smart TVs and as an app for iOS and Android.
What series are on Warhammer Plus? All series are animated, but in very different styles, from 2D cartoons to photo realism, everything seems to be there. Like in Love, Death & Robots, only with series instead of individual episodes.
The titles of eleven Warhammer series are already known:
- Hammer and Bolter: An anthology that tells short stories from both Warhammer franchises.
- Interrogator: It is about a man who seeks revenge for a murdered inquisitor of the Empire.
- Pariah Nexus: This series is about the Necrons.
- Angels of Death: Ten-part series of around ten minutes in length that revolves around a group of Blood Angels.
- Blacktalon
- Iron Within
- Altar of Wrath
- High Lords
- Broken Lance
- Astartes II
- The Exodite
Both the dark sci-fi world of Warhammer 40K and the fantasy universe Age of Sigmar are to get series offshoots. This first teaser gives you a little insight:

Warhammer Plus shows new animated series in the teaser
Games Workshop has recruited well-known Warhammer animation experts such as Syama Petersen over the past few months. He’s got the fan series Astartes created, which, according to the track list, is now getting an official sequel.
There is also something new from Warhammer on the game front: Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground is the first round tactics game based on the fantasy universe. High hopes also rest on Battlesector, which promises spectacular fights but needs a bit more fire.
