Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar and 2K Games, seems to be digging a bit in the moth box. Apparently a total of six remakes or remasters of well-known titles are in the works.
It was only recently announced that the Take Two Studios are working on some new titles, including a new game from Mafia 3 developers Hangar 13, as well as a turn-based tactical game in the Marvel universe from XCOM makers Firaxis.
The publisher also has a few more irons in the fire. As announced in the current quarterly report, the studios are currently working on a total of six different editions of existing titles. Some of them have already been named, namely GTA 5: Enhanced and Expanded, Kerbal Space Program for the new generation of consoles and GTA Online as standalone. But apparently there are three other remasters or remakes that were not named in the documents.
There is plenty of speculation. Not entirely unlikely is an enhanced version of Red Read Redemption 2 for the new consoles. This would also be supported by the fact that DLSS was only recently implemented and Rockstar is far from finished with the title due to the online version. Another option would certainly be a remaster of Max Payne, after all, the series is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary. A remaster of Bioshock would also be an option, especially since the fourth part is supposedly already in development. One can be curious.
