The official VALORANT European First Strike tournament ended this Sunday, December 6th, 2020 with many surprises. It was Team Heretics, founded last October, that ultimately won.

At the last tournament of the year and the first tournament officially organized by Riot Games, it was not G2 Esports that triumphed this time, but the Heretics team, which consisted of players from all over Europe.
The tournament started and gathered on December 3rd after two rounds of open qualification the best eight teams in a playoff phase. Team Heretics then defeated the favorites G2 Esports in the semi-finals in a very even game and won 2-1. They met SUMN FC in the final last night and won 3-1, with a narrow final against Bind.

This tournament was also an opportunity to discover the new agent Skye at the highest level, who competed in time for the European tournament. However, the latter was rarely played: it only appeared in 4% of the games.
The First Strike tournaments took place in a total of 11 regions. He saw 100 thieves triumph in North America yesterday and Vision Strikers in South Korea. From now on, the next step for the VALORANT community is to qualify for the 2021 world route called Champions Tour via the Challengers tournament, which starts next February.
