Tetris effect connection, Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s psychedelic interpretation of classic puzzle games will allow you to see shapes on your journey later this year.
At today’s Nintendo’s Independent World Showcase, the company announced that Teris Effect Connected (an upgraded and enhanced multiplayer version of Tetris Effect) will be launched later this year.
Tetris effect: Connected will land on Switch on October 8, and it seems that once the game’s limited time exclusive period on the Xbox platform ends.
The Tetris effect was first released on PC, PlayStation and VR platforms in 2018, and the multiplayer game was upgraded through the Tetris effect connection last year.
The Nintendo Switch version of the game will include everything we saw in the upgrade, including online or local cross-platform multiplayer games and cooperative modes.
The Switch version also supports cross-platform multiplayer games, which means that if you get it on the Switch, you can also play or fight with others on Xbox, PC, and PlayStations.
The creator of Tetris Effect-Tetsuya Mizuguchi-is known for his esoteric and abstract games. He is also behind the psychedelic fun of Rez, Lumines and Child of Eden.
Sadly, if you want to try his special brand virtual acid again, you will have to wait longer: at the end of last year, we heard that his next game, humanity, has been postponed to 2021 (we still Did not think too much).
