The PS5 Portable is official, but the leaks keep piling up. After the battery and the autonomy of the console, these are stolen images circulating on the web.
After months of rumours, the PlayStation Project Q has become official. That tentative name doesn’t prevent gamers from lumping it down to the PS5 Portable, partly reflecting the utility of this hybrid device. As an interface between accessories and console, the machine will depend on the functionality of remote play and therefore ask for the home console. More specifically, a WiFi connection is required to run all your games. Sony has promised to release more information about it later this year, but now the PS5 Portable is being revealed in all its glory with stolen images. Suffice it to say it’s a great piece.

The PS5 Portable is again the victim of a leak. Sony hasn’t managed to keep the existence of this surprising project a secret and isn’t ready to stop. We already know a lot about the manufacturer’s half-console. The battery is rumored to last between 3 and 4 hours of playtime, compared to 10 to 15 hours for the DualSense when Sony confirmed it would be based around an 8-inch LCD touchscreen. The device’s controller has all the features of the DualSense, namely haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. In addition, this PS5 Portable would be able to run games in 1080p and up to 60fps. Today it’s a PS Project Q in nature, revealed through images stolen via Reddit.
The opportunity to discover its design in more detail is a cold shower for many players. “VSIt’s just an Android tablet with a controller attached to the sides “, for example, comments a user in the specialist forums. Many find it aesthetically unappealing, while the majority are concerned about handling what appears to be a large piece. ” It’s so ugly that I can’t imagine Sony releasing it as is.
It now remains to be seen how much Sony wants to charge for its Project Q. This is currently the only information that the manufacturer has been able to keep secret. Microsoft estimates that the accessories shouldn’t cost more than $300. And you, what do you think of the design of this pseudo PS5 Portable?
