In case you’ve forgotten, The Division 2 is back to business. Today’s update brings the new game mode The Summit and the start of the third season.
Title Update 11 for The Division 2 was installed during maintenance. The update, which is around 8GB on all platforms, has a lot in its baggage.
It starts with the start of the 3rd season called Concealed Agenda with new hunts, leagues, a new global event and plenty of rewards. You now have twelve weeks to secure everything the season has to offer, including new Exotics, a new set, and new named weapons and armor.
In addition, the new game mode The Summit starts today, which sends you into a 100-story skyscraper that you can conquer floor by floor and play again at any time. The level of difficulty increases the higher you get and the levels are procedurally generated to provide variety if you repeat individual sections. In between you conquer rally points and checkpoints, from which you can get back in at any time.
In addition, there is a variety of new equipment and weapons, including the Hunter’s Fury Gear Set, which is primarily intended for shorter distances with shotgun and SMG. There are also a number of revisions, bug fixes, balancing changes and other optimizations. The complete patch notes for update 11
