Metal Gear Solid has some very, very big surprises in store for you alongside the highly anticipated third part remake. And it could be huge.
Konami has finally decided to take the small dishes to the big ones with these big licenses. Silent Hill will be entitled to a large number of projects, and Metal Gear Solid finally comes back from the dead. So the rumors were all true. Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake is a reality and will definitely drive fans crazy. But as a bonus, the Japanese publisher released a big surprise for us, a compilation of old episodes of the franchise that also still holds big secrets.
Yes, MGS 1, 2 and 3 are entitled to their remastered version. We now understand why they are missing from the catalog of classic PlayStation Premium games. Konami announced the upcoming release of its ultimate collection for the end of the year around the fall, but without giving a release date.
However, when the first three games of the franchise are highlighted, the official site teases us with big surprises. At least that’s what the small “+” and the question mark indicate. All underlined with a sentence that tells us to wait for new information. So it could be that Metal Gear Solid 4 and the PSP opus are also included. If that’s true, then the compilation would be just huge. But we still have to wait to get to the bottom of it.
To complete its big announcements, Konami has released a small press release aimed at the whole fanbase.
