Before we start the weekend, we take stock of the new Prime Video releases for July 2023, all of which are fresh. In June, the service offered its subscribers beautiful and large programs likeInterstellar, heaviness, looper or 2001: A Space Odyssey. A month also marked by series like the fourth season of Jack Ryan, but above all by the idol. The shocking HBO TV show that finally ends after five episodes. A sudden stop, but apparently planned. Ready for a movie overdose? Because the new Amazon Prime Video from July 2023 made a big impact. In fact, the major feature films will all be available from Saturday 1st July. Let’s start with the masterpiece of this series: Django Unchained. The western of Quentin Tarantino’s trilogy, rewriting history in his own way. The LEGO Great Adventure and its catchy song are coming to Amazon Prime Video in a few hours. A super cool animated film that uses the stop motion technique. By photographing an inanimate object, composing it, and animating it, you can create motion that can later be used in the production of a feature film. An overall very successful process, as recently with Guillermo Del Toros Pinocchio.
The series proposes the return of Good omens and its 2nd season. An Original Amazon Prime Video Show Starring Michael Sheen (master of sex), John Hamm (mad Men), Frances McDormand (Miller’s crossing) or David Tennant (Doctor Who). Another new house: The Horrors of Dolores Roach. A woman wrongfully sentenced to 16 years in prison who may be living through a nightmare as she tries to move on from this episode in her life.

To stick with horror productions, without strictly speaking it’s a horror film, welcomes Prime Video Exit. A film directed by Jordan Peele (Us, Nope) that, in its own way, deals with the issue of racism within a middle-class family, but not only. We’ll leave the surprise of discovery to you, in case you missed it. The detour is worth it.
If you fancy a grand show featuring majestic extinct animals, then Jurassic World is for you: Fallen Kingdom. The second part of the new trilogy with Chris Pratt and the one and only Jeff Goldblum. Music lovers who evoke nostalgic memories of the disco era will get their money’s worth here Mamma Mia: Here we go again on Amazon Prime Video. The hit musical that recently shook the walls of the Grand Rex in Paris. We find the singer Cher, Meryl Streep (The devil Wears Prada), Stellan Skarsgård (series HBO Chernobyl), Amanda Seyfried (Shortage), Lily James (baby driver), Colin Firth (A King’s Speech), Christine Baranski (sex intentions) and other.
After watching Unexplored, first man or Django UnchainedEnjoy watching Spike Lee’s Blackkklansman. And if you’re one of those erotic novel readers, there’s the complete Fifty Shades of Grey. Uncharted (July 1)
After a monumental triumph on PlayStation consoles, the obviously Indiana Jones-inspired Naughty Dog franchise is coming full circle with a film adaptation. Accompanied by his mentor and friend Sully (Mark Walhberg), Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) sets out in search of a very valuable artifact. A gold cross of the explorer Ferdinand Magellan. As in the games, Drake finds himself in situations where he wonders how to get out of it. Chloe Frazer (Sophia Taylor Ali) also makes an appearance in the feature film.
Tomb Raider (July 1)
When you have finished Nathan Drake’s new adventure, Lara Croft awaits you in Tomb Raider. The reboot of the franchise in cinemas starring Alicia Vikander. A feature film that, unlike those with Angelina Jolie, has no right to a sequel, which did not in vain sadden the actress. The film goes back to the origins of Lara Croft, who isn’t yet the seasoned adventuress we know, even though she kills people with spades while she tries by all means to find her father, who may not be dead yet.
Django Unchained (July 1st)

According to the director, there is a long version of the film, which apparently cannot be published yet. Damage. In any case, this film does its job very well if you have a grasp of Quentin Tarantino’s cinema.
The Great Lego Adventure (July 1st)

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (July 1)
Unfortunately, while Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom promises to be a great show, it’s a very, very far cry from the first installment directed by Steven Spielberg. For our colleagues off CineSeriesit’s a blockbuster like so many others, not flashy at all. “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is the most classic blockbuster with no ambition or glitz. He finds it difficult to stand out from the competition, although unfortunately some good ideas are completely underused.”. Here, Owen (Chris Pratt) must save the dinosaurs from extinction when a volcano on the island of Isla Nubar awakens.
Get Out (July 1)
Another highlight of the Prime Video releases for July 2023: Get Out. We accompany Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) and his girlfriend Rose Armitage (Allison Williams) on a weekend with their family, but not everything goes as hoped.
