Fire up your airships and polish your monocles, Anno 1800 is getting a new update! As is usual after a large DLC, this is the first patch that is intended to fix the problems of Reich der Luft and Game Update 15.
That’s why the 15.1 update includes numerous balancing adjustments and there is even an ornament for free for Schönbau fans. But still, not all fans are satisfied with the update.

When will Game Update 15.1 be released? The patch will be available for download via the Ubisoft launcher on October 19, 2022 at 3 p.m.
The main changes of Update 15.1
- Free-Ornament: Beautiful builders are given a cosmetic ornament in the form of a billboard as a gift for completing the last Community Challenge.
- Faster Mail: Airmail loading speed has been greatly increased compared to normal goods to avoid long airship jams.
- New turrets weaker: The Flamethrower Towers and Armor Piercing Towers added in Update 15 have been nerfed. Flamethrower hitpoints reduced from 2070 to 1701 (did you notice?). The HP of the armor-piercing gun has been reduced from 3900 to 3750 (unfortunately without a clever gag).
There are also various bug fixes and adjustments for new features from Game Update 15 and the DLC Realm of the Air. You can find the full patch notes on page 2. But in the blog post comments, not all fans are happy with the content of the update.

Some players are complaining about a new bug in the Iron Tower quest, errors in the main quest of the Travel Time DLC and specifically about the adjustment of the loading speed for mail.
This should actually avoid long traffic jams at airship landing stages, but airships prefer to dock at the airship hangar and there is still no way to have airships with normal goods dock at the office. Since airships with mail on board can only dock at the airport, there will still be unnecessarily long traffic jams even after the update.
In the long term, this should be followed up with an update. And based on experience, we can still expect version 15.2 and maybe even 15.3 in the next few weeks.
