Street Fighter 6’s first year of DLC roadmap is finally coming to an end. Fans will therefore finally be able to find this legendary fighter from Capcom’s flagship franchise.
In a trailer that clearly sums it up, Capcom finally shows us what Akuma will bring to Street Fighter 6. This will come in the form of DLC very soon for everyone’s approval.
Akuma soon enters the Street Fighter 6 ring
Akuma first appears in Street Fighter II Turbo and has since become one of the most iconic characters in an equally iconic franchise. This finally marks the first year of DLC planned by Capcom for Street Fighter 6. More specifically, it will be released on May 22nd on PC and PlayStation/Xbox consoles. This is also accompanied by a new stage (called Enma’s Hollow) and a balancing patch.
This date was officially announced by Capcom in the trailer below. So we can finally see what Akuma is up to in the latest version of the legendary fighting game. He faces Ryu, his lifelong enemy, in a battle with truly colossal stakes at the very next stage. The latest generation of Satsui no Hado is clearly not there to make jokes and spare the youngest Street Fighter newcomers.
DLC requires, unfortunately you have to pay some money one way or another. To be more precise, an unlockable character costs 350 Fighter Coins, or around 7 dollars. Otherwise, those who have already purchased the Season Pass can enjoy it when it arrives on Street Fighter 6 on May 22nd.
