The Among Us series (yes, there is actually a series in the works) will benefit from the services of a 5-star cast. And that’s no exaggeration.
Sometimes certain video games are perfect for being adapted into a film or series. For many years it wasn’t always successful. Fortunately, the image is being restored by major successes such as The Last of Us or Arcane for League of Legends. On the other hand, sometimes it happens that a project is announced to everyone’s surprise. This is the case with the Among Us series, which has recently resurfaced. More specifically, we know more about the cast, and that’s nothing to laugh about. But obviously not.
The TV series “Unter uns” won’t do things by halves
A quick reminder is in order for latecomers. Yes, an Among Us series is actually in the works. It is backed by an affiliate of CBS Studios, Eye Animation Productions and Titmouse. The latter is best known for his work on Big Mouth, which you’ve probably heard of. In any case, not much is known about this animated series. We assume production started a few months ago, but that’s all the information we have. However, some of the cast was revealed in broad daylight and it’s exciting.
It was an article published by The Hollywood Reporter that ignited the powder. We learn that several personalities have been chosen for roles in the adaptation of Among Us: we find Randall Park, who will give his voice to Red, or Yvette Nicole Brown, who will take care of Orange. In addition, we also note the presence of Ashley Johnson for the character Purple. You probably know her from her role as Ellie in The Last of Us games. We’re not talking about just anyone here, and it will be nice to see them here.
The final actor is none other than Elijah Wood, who will double as Green. We are dealing with the man who gave Frodo his facial features in The Lord of the Rings. This is undoubtedly an important addition to the cast of the Among Us series. All of this makes your mouth water. Now there is only one unanswered question: Who is the impostor? We can’t wait to find out. In any case, the result should be fascinating. We’re waiting for a first trailer to find out for sure.
