After being a hit on Steam, Phasmophobia is finally coming to PS5 and Xbox Series. The icing on the cake is that the game’s release is imminent!
After scaring millions of players on Steam, the cooperative gem Phasmophobia is finally coming to the PS5 and Xbox Series. A release on a home console that also brings with it some new features and is perfect for the most freaking out time of the year: Halloween. Because yes, we have an exact release date, which was finally announced at the last major Xbox partner meeting.
Phasmophobia is coming to home consoles!
What is Phasmophobia? It is a cooperative horror game in which a team of a maximum of four ghost hunters must track down various creatures in order to identify them and immortalize their existence. It is known that, like any self-respecting good hunter, we will have the opportunity to use a whole arsenal of devices. Night camera, various sensors, thermometers… protective crucifixes and other exorcism incense will also be there.
On paper it doesn’t look like much, but in game it’s a different story. Phasmophobia derives its strength from the random aspect of its games and its truly frightening atmosphere, even in multiplayer
New features and, above all, an early release date
On consoles, the game will include some new features. The user interface is slightly modified to be much more pleasant. New game mechanics make life easier for players who don’t have a microphone, such as the ability to communicate with the ghost not with his voice, but with pre-recorded sentences. In the game, the developers surprisingly also confirmed support for the special features of the Dualsense, not to mention that it will also be compatible with the PSVR 2. Sensation guaranteed.
Phasmophobia will therefore appear on Xbox Series and PS5 on October 29th. At the same time, a Halloween event will also be launched on all media.
