The crumpled, disgusting Nilfgaard armor from The Witcher Netflix show will make an appearance in The Witcher 3 as part of a next-gen upgrade. Available December 15th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
For those who don’t know, the kingdom of Nilfgaard was forgotten when it wore strange and visually anachronistic armor on a TV show. As part of this major update, all current owners of The Witcher 3 will receive some Netflix show-themed cosmetics and quests for free.
The update also brings across-the-board performance improvements, visual upgrades, photo mode, and general bug fixes and optimizations for new hardware. In addition, a series of mods that are widely loved by fans in the community have been added.
As you can imagine, CD Projekt Red has been careful not to spoil the new quests in The Witcher 3 with this update. This task related to the Netflix show is new and fascinating. But whatever it is, we can deal with it with new equipment, as well as Dandelion’s alternate costume. OK!
Another reason to jump back and play The Witcher 3 is simple! With CD Projekt Red announcing a slew of new projects, including the next game in the Witcher universe and a remake of The Witcher 1, it looks like it’s the last hurray for the finale of Geralt’s trilogy.
