Newly hired director Jake Schreier has previously directed music videos for superstars Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar, directed the coming-of-age film Walks in Margo, and directed episodes of the series Minx and Dave. The upcoming Thunderbolts movie is being scripted by Eric Pearson, the writer of the MCU entry Black Widow.
The Thunderbolts in the MCU: These villains could appear
The “Thunderbolts” film is currently in a very early stage of development. Actors have therefore not yet been determined. But it can be assumed with certainty that some familiar faces from the MCU will again be part of the party.
For example, Yelena Belova from “Black Widow” and “Hawkeye”, John Walker/US Agent and Baron Zemo from “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” or even Bucky Barnes from the same series are possible.
The “Thunderbolts” could be led by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, who has already appeared in “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” and the post-credits scene of “Black Widow”, where she wanted to recruit US Agent and Yelena Belova. Should this prove true, Kevin Feige and Co. would have prepared the upcoming “Thunderbolts” film – in the usual MCU manner – well in advance.
