Can you give a half-hour lecture on the differences between a bruxa and an abaya? Then you are probably a die-hard fan of The Witcher.
Or can you explain the route from Watson to Heywood to a passer-by without looking at the map? No doubt, in this case you are passionate fans of Cyberpunk 2077.
So, let’s hear it: What is your favorite game from CD Projekt Red?
Silver sword or mantis blade – you are spoiled for choice
Not only the main games are available to choose from. We have also listed the major addons for The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 individually. Why? Well, it’s rumored that the story of the Witcher 3 DLC Blood and Wine is even better than the main quest of the main game, ahem.
Do you see it differently? No problem: just vote and contradict the author of these lines!
- The Witcher: This is where it all started. Geralt of Rivia, a dark game world, disgusting monstrosities and a bunch of bugs – oh, simple
everythingalmost everything we value about CDPR. Above all, the damn dark game world is still unsurpassed for some fans today – including Sören:
- The Witcher 2: The sequel was more linear and gener ally offered less scope than the first film, but was a huge leap forward in terms of staging. Geralt is accused of being a regicide and you have to help him clear his name and find the real culprit.
- The Witcher 3: A role-playing milestone and an almost intrusive top position occupier in many of our best lists. Whenever we do a ranking, The Witcher 3 knocks on our editorial door and throws office supplies at us until we at least put it on the podium again. But hey, with this great open world, the fantastic quests and the incredibly dense atmosphere, it’s somehow deserved, right?!
- The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone: The first story addon offered more of the same and that is of course very good news given the high quality of the main game. Among other things, you are a guest at one of the most atmospheric weddings in video game history, albeit with a semi-good outcome for some of those involved.

The Witcher 3: CD Projekt Red pays tribute to all the fans worldwide
- The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine: Oh, the sunny slopes of Toussaint! Anyone who doesn’t get the holiday vibe from Geralt’s second DLC outing for Witcher 3 has the stone heart of a golem – unless he or she doesn’t like vampires, which we would take as a counter-argument. The bloodsuckers play an important role in the grandiose main story of Blood and Wine.
- Gwent: The card game known from the Witcher games got its own game for PC and consoles in 2017. As a pure deck builder, it’s all about beating your opponents with the power of cards instead of swords and axes.
- Cyberpunk 2077: The next big game from CD Projekt after The Witcher 3 started with a belly landing. Numerous bugs spoiled the fun of the game when it was released, but it was still extremely enjoyable for many fans. That alone was proof that the team did a lot of things right with Cyberpunk 2077. And since the exemplary, years-long aftercare with numerous patches, we can say with a clear conscience: Cyberpunk 2077 is a masterpiece.
- Cyberpunk 2077 – Phantom Liberty: The add-on is no exception. Phantom Liberty also thrilled fans of the cyberpunk role-playing game with unforgettable quests and useful gameplay innovations. In the new Dogtown area, a lot of things are different than in the usual Night City – and that’s a good thing, because the add-on exudes its own unique scent from start to finish.
