Anniversary! So hopefully, with the confused counting of our podcasts with specials, sub-specials and lost episodes, you can never be entirely sure whether episode 100 is really episode 100.
Nevertheless: What a good opportunity this historic podcast birthday would have been for our traditional review of the no less historic year 2020. Everything was already prepared: release dates were noted, trends analyzed, outbursts of anger pent up – but then Dimi lost his voice due to illness and Maurice despaired of the pre-Christmas video jam. It shouldn’t be (not yet).

But of course we wouldn’t be the GameStar podcast if we couldn’t shake a replacement episode out of the microphones at short notice. In it we do something that we had planned for a long time: open Fantasy Name Generators We generate game names and think about the ingenious concepts behind it.
Natalie Schermann, Petra Schmitz and Michael Graf ponder what might be hidden behind “Borderworks” or “Water Sports and Martial Arts”. In “Blasterphobia”, do you really play the object from video games that is most afraid of being hit? And what does Peter Molyneux urgently need to develop?
