Thymesia Review Roundup – All Scores

Review, roundup, scores, Thymesia

OverBorder Studio’s first project is one that’s probably more than it can chew. thyme It is a soul-like work, mainly cursed by blood, and has some hints of wolves.

Indie games are coming Thursday, August 18th, but are they worth it? Well, that’s the question we hope this story will answer. As we like to do, we’ve aggregated all the review scores from gaming media to help you decide.

Thymesia is a game with challenging deflection, dodge and plague mechanics that wants you to keep the pressure on. Attacking enemies in Thymesia will only hurt them, in keeping with the Plague Doctor theme. To actually kill an enemy, you have to use your advantage to turn a temporary wound into a permanent one.

Your Claw is the main tool for doing this. When you’re not doing your normal battle dance, you’re trying to use a plague weapon, which is a bit like the Ashes of War or magical abilities you might see in FromSoft games.

Thymsia is a short game. You’re looking for about ten hours to do it, more if you decide to go with a different ending and/or try a build. You can reassign your talents at any point in the game for free, making the process trivial.

Are Plague Weapons made from Plague, or are they just Plague Weapons?

Thymsia is coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on August 18. The Switch Cloud version also arrived on the same day.
