Wanted: Dead finally has a concrete release date – but this is now a whole corner later than initially planned.
It’s already bewitched in the games industry right now: Numerous titles can’t keep their originally planned release time window and appear noticeably later. As a rule, this currently means: No more release in the current year 2022, but only in the coming year 2023. This now also applies to Wanted: Dead!
Developer Soleil and publisher 110 Industries actually wanted to launch Wanted: Dead in the fourth quarter of 2022. Now a concrete release date has finally been communicated – but that is not until next year. Accordingly, on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2023, you will be able to plunge into the adventure on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC.
The announcement was made as part of a new trailer, which you can also check out below. A short message followed via the official Twitter account, in which the date was confirmed. There was no further comment on the reasons for the delay, but the bottom line is that the team will probably simply need a little more time for the necessary fine-tuning.
In Wanted: Dead you take on the role of a member of an elite police squad on the trail of a major conspiracy. as Lt. Hannah Stone has more than 50 finishing moves at your disposal, as well as a variety of weapon options including Assault Rifles, Grenade Launchers and SMGs. In terms of gameplay, you can expect a beat ’em up style, which you can live out in a cyberpunk world with a retro futuristic look of the 90s.
