The Tennocon 2021 was the largest Warframe trade fair to date in terms of audience numbers, with more than 175,000 fans watching the live show on Steam alone. And they have been rewarded with several exciting announcements that clearly show that the co-op shooter still has big plans after eight years. The number of players is already impressive:

Expansion The New War: Gameplay Revealed
For many Warframe fans, the highlight of the fair is guaranteed: Game scenes from The New War were finally shown.

Chief Operating Officer Sheldon Carter says:
“We are at the very beginning of the next generation of Warframe. We are eight years young and have the advantage that we are starting our second generation of consoles with a large game expansion that also marks a new chapter with more story content, which our players have wished for . “
Crossplay and crosssave in progress
In the future, you can transfer your saved game to any platform and play with all Warframe players. No matter what device you use. That also means that in the future all major updates are installed at the same time

There is not yet an exact release date for these innovations. Crossplay and Crosssave also apply specifically to the mobile version that has just been announced.
Warframe Mobile is coming
A version for mobile platforms is currently in work, but so far there is only sparse information. For example is no release date known
More announcements
At Tennocon 2021 there were plenty of smaller reveals and innovations to be seen. For example this one:
- Fan favorite Nidus will be available as a prime version later this year.
- With Caliban a new Warframe appears, which is partly built from Sentinel parts and gives himself and his team a lot of damage resistance.
- Tennocon has been collecting donations for six years and has now raised more than one million US dollars for charitable purposes.
