Gaming News Weird West: The Xbox Game Pass game shows the importance of choice
In just a few days, players will be able to discover just that on Xbox Game Pass Weird West, the first-ever creation from fledgling WolfEye studios, founded by co-creators of Prey and Dishonored. To celebrate this great event, the video game western offers a new trailer in which it expands all its possibilities.
An organic universe
Full of promise, Weird West, the title that more than won us over when we got our hands on it in late 2021, will soon hit our machines, allowing us to embody a lonely cowboy who must weave his way into one lawless world. The title, entirely cel-shaded and viewed from above, mixes genres, offering both intense action scenes like a twin-stick shooter and dialogue phases like Wasteland 3, where choices have to be made to advance the story. However, in order to safely immerse players in these video game westerns and to greatly increase the immersion, Raphaël Colantonio and Julien Roby have decided to emphasize this idea of choice.
As you can see by watching the latest trailer available above, In Weird West, not only what you say to other characters affects the rest of the adventure, but also what you do.
unique stories
With this evolving universe idea, Weird West promises to bring many unique stories to life for players so that no two games are ever the same. This proposal, if it works, will bring great replayability to the title.
Your decisions and decisions will shape the legend of the group of atypical heroes whose adventures you will follow in the heart of ruthless lands with impressive folklore. The journey depends on your actions: the stakes are high in every encounter, and every choice you make affects the universe as well as the way you can interact with it. Form a gang or set off to explore this other world on the edge of the strange west. Everyone writes their own story in this strange Great West! WolfEye Studios
As a reminder, Weird West is expected on March 31st on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and of course Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
