That cute bear is Winnie the Pooh Still not that cute in the first trailer blood and honey 2he is joined by his old friends Tigger and Owl.
With Winnie the Pooh now in the public domain, last year saw the release of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, a fairly low-budget British horror film that transformed your favorite childhood characters Winnie the Pooh and Piggy into terrifying douchebag. Since then, Tigger has also entered the public domain, and in the upcoming sequel, he joins the fray, as you can see in the first trailer below. It’s obvious that the sequel had a much bigger budget and the costumes were more detailed, reminding me of Jim Carrey’s Grinch look.
“After Christopher Robin reveals their existence, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Owl and Tigger find their homes and lives threatened as a destructive rage grows deep in the Hundred Acre Wood,” the film’s plot description wrote in. “Not wanting to live in the shadows any longer, the gang decides to wage war on Christopher Robin’s hometown of Ashdown, leaving a bloody trail of death and mayhem in their wake. Winnie and his savage friends will wreak havoc on all People show they are deadlier, more powerful, and smarter than anyone imagined, and seek revenge on Christopher Robin once and for all.”
Rhys Fraker-Waterfield will return to direct the film, and he also serves as screenwriter on the project alongside Matt Leslie. It looks like it should be a direct sequel to the first film, albeit one that recasts Christopher Robin – maybe more money, better actor?
Although there is no confirmed release date yet, “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2” is expected to be released in 2024, although it has not been revealed whether it will be in theaters or digital.
