A little less than a year after its release on PC, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will experience the joys of a brand new support. The adventures of Peter Parker and Miles Morales therefore begin again, this time against a new selection of much more invasive enemies.

In a much shorter time, Insomniac and Sony announce the arrival of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Released in October 2023, the title will be ported with the help of Nixxes, a studio that Sony bought for this type of project, namely porting the company’s first-party games to PC. Adapting Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales for a new audience on PC with Insomniac and Marvel Games has been a great experience for the Nixxes teams. We’re excited to renew this collaboration to bring Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to PC with an expanded feature set, including ray tracing options to take advantage of a variety of hardware configurations. A definitive edition before its time
The support of Steam Deck is not announced as opposed to now requiring connection to a PlayStation Network account. Available in standard and deluxe versions, with players knowing that upgrading to the base version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is supported the usual rendering technologies as well as ultra-wide screens and a keyboard-mouse combination. Enough to compete against Venom in the best conditions.
