Good news for heist fans, the former Payday developers who founded 10 Chambers have just revealed their own upcoming heist game – wolf lair! When first shown off at The Game Awards, it looked very much like a heist game, with the level of attitude we’d expect from these guys.
There’s no word yet on a release date or platform. This is the first reveal, and we’ve only gotten the vibes and general premise for now, but judging from the working team, you can expect a tactically charged co-op experience with a lot of style and passion behind it.
It looks messy too! It looks like we’re getting some messy futuristic technology to help us get far beyond our developer roots of security cracking. It seems that the group of thieves we are playing are robbing the corpses in the cold storage? That’s metal.
10 Chambers previously developed GTFO, a sci-fi horror game with a slower, more dangerous atmosphere than the team’s previous work. Still, they seem to be moving away from niche, hardcore shooter projects toward something with more mass appeal. And more masks! These people love masks. The weirder and cooler the better.

GTFO also released a trailer at The Game Awards showcasing the team’s final update as they move into Wolf’s Lair full-time. It looks like big things are happening at 10 Chambers – Den of Wolves is a game worth keeping an eye on.
