The shooter WW1 Isonzo, set in the First World War, has once again received a free expansion. We’ll tell you here what awaits you in Adamello.
BlackMill Games has once again added content to the World War II shooter Isonzo thanks to the free Adamello expansion. The add-on is now available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 – and below you’ll find out exactly what to expect.
The focus is on a free new map that awaits you with the highest battlefield in the game and there fore also with icy cold. The map takes place at over 3,000 meters altitude in the Adamello-Presanella Alps and you fight for control of the Presena summit. There you can also use two new weapons: the artillery Luger for the German Reich and the Petardo Offensiveo PO grenade for Italy.
Additionally, the Adamello expansion also returns the Ascension game mode for a limited time. Until November 25th, you can climb a steep mountainside using only a pickaxe, hooks and ropes. In short: It is probably the most daring way to attack enemy positions in the First World War.
To properly celebrate the release of the add-on, Isonzo can also temporarily be played for free on Steam and PlayStation; this promotion runs from November 14th to 18th. The free weekend is also accompanied by discounts if you decide to permanently purchase the full version. There is a discount of up to 67 percent on the main game and DLC content.
