The Xiaomi 13 is getting more expensive! A leak now shows how much the cell phone is expected to cost in Germany.

Samsung has done it with the Galaxy S23, Xiaomi is apparently following suit. The retailer will probably ask for a significantly higher price for the Xiaomi 13 top smartphone that is expected soon than for the Xiaomi 12 a year ago.
Journalist Roland Quandt, known for his leaks, shared a link on Twitter. This leads to a Google web cache copy of a page on the Xiaomi 13 at CyberPort that can no longer be accessed. The dealer lists the mobile phone here in the version with 256 gigabytes for 999.99 dollars.
This is an additional charge of 100 dollars compared to the predecessor, which cost 899.99 dollars in this memory version. It remains to be seen whether there will be a cheaper 128 gigabyte variant. Xiaomi has removed this from the Xiaomi 12T Pro for the German market, for example.
We will probably find out more in a few days. On February 26, Xiaomi wants to unveil the mobile phone. The Xiaomi 13 Pro could also become more expensive, as indicated by a leak from France.
