Following last month’s massive popularity on consoles and PC, Yu-Gi-Oh master duel finally released on both iOS and Android devices worldwide. Due to cross-play across all supported platforms, players who choose to play the trading card game for free will be able to compete against the existing player base.
Not only that, but those who have to sit at home and play Yu-Gi-Oh will also be able to benefit from cross-progression, transferring their decks and card collections to their phones so they can duel on the go.
With this update, Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel will be supported in 80 countries and 9 unique languages. As it turns out, the game is somewhat of a revival of the famous card game – with a peak of around 148,000 players on Steam alone, making it the fifth most popular game on the platform.
This is a great opportunity for both new players creating their first deck and existing duelists looking to build a new meta deck they can carry around. Mobile users who have a PS+ subscription but haven’t joined can still take advantage of the free 50-pack promo and then transfer their newfound loot to their mobile version if they want to get started.
