It’s been a few years since Bandai Namco released a new Tales Of game. The last game was Tales of Arise, which was released in 2021. However, that game is not available on Nintendo Switch. However, next year marks the 30th anniversary of the release of the first game in the series, Tales of Phantasia. Because of this, there has been interest in what the company may be planning.
So it’s not surprising that Bandai Namco was asked about this at a recent shareholder meeting. According to one of the attendees, when asked if there were any plans for the Tales Of 30th Anniversary, a company representative said that “there are things I can’t reveal right now, but look forward to the upcoming announcements.” The participant notes that this response is different from what they usually say, and that “things I can’t reveal right now” are said with a “suggestive facial expression.”
