North America / Japan
No doubt deviating from the anime visuals with this cover, right? Our protagonist, Soma Cruz, stands front and center, surrounded by a bunch of characters you’ll encounter in the game. This “everyone’s here” approach isn’t going away many there’s room for background detail, but we can still tick the ‘spooky castle’, ‘full moon’ and ‘bat’ boxes.
Europe
If there was any doubt about who Dawn of Sorrow’s protagonist was looking at the North American/Japanese design, the European variant has you covered. The Castlevania ensemble is cut here, leaving Cruz alone to command our attention and giving a little more credit to the spooky setting. It’s certainly tidier, but just as attractive.
