Hello people, and welcome to the second edition of the Box Art Brawl!
Last time we looked at the Star Fox 64, and God, it was a pretty close match. Both designs are quite great in our eyes, but in the end Japan won the day with 54% of the vote, while the Western design managed to get 46%. Bravo, Japan!
This time we have a little Doozy for you; If only because one of the design is here hilarious bad. We watch River King: Istic Valley for DS, a marvelous entertaining game that was initially launched in 2008. We have Tokyo's life game Thanks to Bluesky for this.
We have another instance here in which the title of the game has been changed because of its European edition, so River King: Istic Valley is now … fishing harvesting. Not only that, but the accompanying box art … well, you will see.
Let the battle begin!
Be sure to give your votes in the survey below; But first, let's check the boxes of the box art itself.
North America

North America and Japan share many similarities with their cover design. North America has its own logo located on top, while the actors of the characters make up a majority of the composition below. It's pretty busy, but we think it works pretty well; Especially with a slightly blurred background.
Japan

Japan turns things up and has its own logo at the bottom of the composition. We cannot speak for you fine people, but we actually prefer this approach. Our eyes are automatically attracted to the upper characters (which are a little bigger here) and feels like a slightly more natural look. The background is also much lighter, which is why the characters stand out a little more.
Europe

Uhh ….
…
Okay, so let's read!
Thanks for your vote! We'll see you next time another Box art brawl circle.
