We’re just a few days away from the new year, and Nintendo has just revealed the top 30 most downloaded Switch games on the eShop in Japan for 2021. As always, this data does not include the sales of physical copies. The rankings for the year overall isn’t much different from the data that was released for the first half of the year; Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise continues to hold the top spot, with the sussy indie juggernaut Among Us following right behind. The biggest shake up comes from the November release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, coming in to catch the third and fifth positions, sandwiching the Japanese exclusive Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban.
