The #1 games to start 2023 were the latest Pokemon adventures, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet , which show no signs of slowing down in the land of the rising sun. The Nintendo Switch family of systems continues to be the best-selling dedicated video game hardware in Japan, shifting an additional 250,718 units in two weeks, which is impressive after Christmas.
