Bad news coming this time from Microsoft as it is related to new layoffs in the company. It was confirmed today, Friday, and the situation is worrying.
Layoffs at Microsoft

Now, following recent statements about its intention to release more Xbox games on other platforms, Microsoft has laid off more than 1,900 employees in its subsidiariesaffecting Activision Blizzard, Xbox y Zenimax. The layoffs, which represent around 8.6% of Microsoft’s total workforceinclude the departure of Activision Blizzard president Mike Ybarra and design director Allen Adham.
Microsoft CEO Phil Spencer has promised to handle the process carefully and offer severance packages under labor law. Additionally, a survival game in development at Blizzard was reportedly cancelled, and some staff were transferred to other projects.
