A novelty in this game is that they have created what are known as soft fails, in order to create and branch out the stories.
The choice chosen at each moment of the game will make your path one or the other. Lin Joyce (head writer of the game) has said:
Not all decisions that could be considered wrong will determine the end of a story. We had many conversations where we were philosophically analyzing how to do all this. How can we do it differently? Therefore, not all failures will make something end, but it is possible to have an opportunity for the story to continue. And this is not something that has been seen before. There are other things that will be an option, or the possibility of an action. It is even possible that the correct action is not to act.
