According to a new report, the developer of Pokémon Game Freak will join Nintendo to move to Kanda-Nishikicho, Chioda Ward, Tokyo.

Just last week, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa revealed that the company is currently planning to consolidate its four Tokyo offices into one, the headquarters in Kanda-Nishikicho. Furukawa said the current, separate offices were "not compatible with efficiency".

This latest report from Nikkei (thanks, It doesn't play), suggesting that Game Freak will soon move from its current office in Carrot Tower to the same location. Whether or not this means that the Pokémon developer will be operating under the same roof as Nintendo, or its nearest office, is unclear; in any way, interesting developments that could be decided thus improving communication between the two.

Game Freak has always been, and remains, an independent platform, even though the Pokémon series is owned by Nintendo. Pokémon is the biggest and most successful IP Freak by far, too amazing success Pokémon sword and shield seen since the launch of Nintendo Switch, it would not be a surprise if the two companies wanted to work closely together.

The next releases of Game Freak are Pokémon Sword and Shield Expension Pass for Nintendo switch, a DLC pack that will provide new content for newly released games.
