Earlier this week, rumors surfaced of a possible return of The Sims spin-off ‘ISims’, after ads for the Switch version of the game appeared on two European retail websites.
There now seems to be more evidence of the game’s return, with reports that EA’s official Switch website has now been updated with an icon for ISims (thanks, Vooks.net). Currently, if you click this icon, you will be taken to a Sims 4 page.
If this wasn’t enough, Kotaku also chimed in on this latest rumormentioning that “according to a source familiar with the plans,” a “remaster” of the game is on the way for the Nintendo Switch “later this year.”
“Switch connection ISims is real and coming soon, according to a source familiar with the plans. EA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.”
ISims originally debuted on the Wii and DS in 2007, and was eventually ported to other devices as well. The original ads for this remaster suggest that it could be released around November 2024. Of course, these are just rumors for now!
