An enthusiastic player of Terraria has deployed its creative ingenuity to meticulously recreate the iconic Mount Moon and its surroundings from the Pokémon universe within the game world. Despite the differences in perspective and dimensionality between Terraria, which takes place in an environment 2D side scrollingand the original Pokémon games, which feature a top-down 3D view, this player has proven his skill in making the adaptation coherent and faithful to the source material.
With the pseudonym of EaldorPrime and Reddit, This talented player has presented his latest work as part of his series of replicas of Kanto

The representation of Monte Luna created by this user is practically a scale replica Exactly the one that appears in Pokémon Red and Blue, including the tunnels that connect to other parts of the cave complex. The main distinction between the reconstruction of Mt. Moon and the original is that the Terraria version is not populated by wild Pokémon such as Zubat and Clefairy, nor do random battles occur with them. However, the creator has devised a substitute for Pokémon, using the Lightning Carrot to summon a yellow Volt Bunny that accompanies the player character, thus emulating the relationship between Pikachu and the protagonist in Pokémon Yellow. This meticulous attention to detail has been enthusiastically received by fans, who also appreciate the clothing options that allow the player character to resemble Ash Ketchum from the Pokémon anime.
While this fan’s recreation of Mount Moon is certainly impressive, it’s not the first time a player has incorporated a Kanto location into a non-Pokémon game. In early 2024, another creator shared an amazing replica of the Kanto region created in Minecraftthus highlighting the affection that players continue to have for the original Pokémon region.
